Join the Governance Task Force – Apply Through Monday, Nov. 27
A lot has changed since the 1970s but KICA’s primary governing documents haven’t. KICA’s covenants play a large role in protecting Kiawah property values by laying out the responsibilities of the association and property owners. They define member class types, voting rights, what actions require a member vote, quorum requirements, assessments, functions of the association, common property rights, architectural controls and general provisions.
The re-established Governance Task Force will review the KICA Covenants and General Covenants to make recommendations on needed updates and revisions. View the approved 2023 charter here.
