Andell West Development Goes Before County Planning Commission – Aug. 14

The Andell West development is a potential development designed to integrate with Freshfields Village featuring a larger grocery store, a gas station and other commercial businesses including restaurants. Learn about the development from a June 2023 Town Council update provided by the developer, Riverstone.

The rezoning request for the Andell West development will go before the Charleston County Planning Commission on Monday, Aug. 14.  Full meeting documents will be available here when they are released. Per the agenda, Andell West is listed as ZREZ-06-23-00148: A request to rezone TMS 205-00-00-365 from the Low-Density residential R-4 Zoning District to the Andell West Planned Development, PD-185, to allow for commercial development.

The Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. Comments may be sent to [email protected] by noon on Friday, August 11.  The meeting will be held at 4045 Bridge View Drive, North Charleston and will be livestreamed here.
