The Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections will conduct the Special Town Council Election for the Town of Kiawah Island on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 at the Sandcastle (1 Shipwatch Road, Kiawah Island). The polling location will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
You must be a registered voter in the state of South Carolina, and live in Kiawah’s district to vote in this election. Please bring a valid photo ID to vote. (If you’re not sure, check that your polling place is the Sandcastle with the South Carolina Election Commission.)
This is a nonpartisan, at large municipal election for one council seat. Election results will be determined by the plurality method. Term of office will expire November 2025.
