Volunteer to Join the Joint Task Force on the ARB

At the Annual Meeting on March 17 (view the video), the board discussed and approved a joint task force in conjunction with the Town of Kiawah Island. Its purpose is to “review and make recommendations with regard to various architectural review issues on Kiawah Island.” View the task force charter here.

The joint task force will be led by two KICA board members and two TOKI council members. The KICA board is seeking two community volunteers to objectively and pragmatically assist on this combined task force of eight participants. For these positions, no specific background is required, but applicants with a business, land development, construction or planning background would be preferred. This appointment is open-ended and at the discretion of the KICA board.
