Volunteer for the Board Outreach and Education Committee

This year, the Board Outreach and Education Committee (BOEC) is seeking three community members to join for a two-year term. The Board Outreach and Education Committee, chaired by Lisa Mascolo, will focus on encouraging potential candidates to run for the KICA Board by answering questions about Board service and sharing information about board candidates in advance of the election. Please take a moment to view the Board Outreach and Education Committee Charter. Most of the committee’s recruitment and communication efforts will occur from September through November.

Board directorship provides members a chance to help shape the future of Kiawah and ensure that its value is retained. The committee does not recommend candidates for board service; however, the committee’s format and process recognize the community’s important role in selecting their directors from an equally-represented slate of candidates.

Applications are open through Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 10 p.m.
