Tropical Storm Nicole

The Kiawah Island Community Association, Town of Kiawah Island and Charleston County Emergency Management officials are actively monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole.

Tropical Storm Nicole is forecast to make landfall on the east coast of Florida early Thursday morning as a Category 1 hurricane. Although the storm’s track is still uncertain, the current model suggests the storm will pass over central South Carolina on Friday as a tropical depression. According to the National Weather Service, Kiawah will see the most significant impacts Thursday and Friday.
