Seafields Senior Living Property To Break Ground

Seafields at Kiawah Island is a three-story mixed-use senior living property that will consist of 98 independent living residences and 16 assisted living residences, and an array of amenities and services. This month, the developer will begin preliminary site work and construction of the turn lane on Seabrook Island Road. Members should allow more time for travel and expect minor traffic delays on Seabrook Island Road and along the bike path.

The facility construction phase is not expected to start until late 2021 or early 2022. During that phase of construction, there will likely be additional traffic impacts on the inbound lane of Betsy Kerrison approaching the roundabout. Learn more about Seafields at Kiawah Island.
