Rhett’s Bluff Launch Closed for Improvements Through April 22

Some improvements are coming to the Rhett’s Bluff boat launch before the busy boating season arrives. The unpaved area in front of the ramp will be paved with oyster shell concrete, making it easier to use the boat launch no matter the weather. The boat launch will be closed through April 22 for this work. During this time, members with smaller watercraft (under 17′) should use Eagle Point. The docks and pavilion will be accessible to members.

Following the ramp improvements, KICA’s contractor will complete the extension of the paved driveway circle to the exit. The ramp will be open while this work is conducted; however, please use caution and obey all signage directives. Two-way traffic will be necessary so consider other launch users while launching and loading.
