Newly-added Improvements Increase Convenience at Eagle Point

Eagle Point (222 Eagle Point Road) is a boat landing for KICA members that is ideal for small boats, kayaks and paddleboards.

This amenity received some recent improvements suggested by KICA’s Amenities Task Force to make the facility more convenient to members. A bulkhead project stabilized the bank against erosion. Following the completion of the bulkhead project, the association installed a kayak dock similar to the launch at Cinder Creek. This dock features two sets of railings situated to make it easier and safer to get into and out of your kayak. A concrete wash pad has also been added to make cleanup easier.

KICA is exploring the potential for additional improvements including additional kayak and canoe storage. Once the design is completed, it will go to the KICA board for further review.

Vehicle and trailer parking while you’re out on the water are available. (Overnight parking is not permitted at KICA facilities.) See more information on using KICA’s member boating facilities here.
