Find Your Next Great Read at the Lending Library

Are you looking to spend February curled up on Kiawah with a companion? Whether your perfect match is a beach romance, mystery or nonfiction, you can find a good book to spend your quality time with at the Sandcastle lending library.

(Please note the Sandcastle is closed for annual maintenance Feb. 4-11, so be sure to drop in before or after those dates!) 

This community amenity has been a member favorite since its founding in 1997. It’s truly a community effort, with all books donated by members and the library itself tended by a volunteer from the Sandcastle Book Club. Not only does this make for a lot of variety, but you will often find other members there, ready with their recommendations on what to choose. Selections vary as books come and go, but often include audio books and puzzles.

Best of all, there’s no library card needed – just pick up and go!
