Board Unanimously Passes New KICA By-laws
At Monday’s meeting, the KICA board unanimously approved new by-laws for the association. View the discussion of the by-laws here.
The new by-laws were drafted by the Governance Task Force, revised following several rounds of community feedback, reviewed by KICA’s legal counsel, and presented to the board for review and approval. The by-laws primarily address how the island’s governance works, including how community votes and elections must be conducted and the details of board member service terms.
While the by-laws need to be officially recorded before they go into effect, the draft that was approved is available below.
