Shorebird Steward Kickoff

Are you interested in helping to protect Kiawah’s shorebirds? Consider joining the Kiawah Shorebird Stewardship Program, sponsored by the Town of Kiawah Island! Shorebird stewards serve as advocates to protect shorebirds and their critical habitats by talking to beachgoers about the birds that nest, rest, and feed on our beach.
The 2021 season Shorebird Steward kickoff meeting/training session will be held virtually on March 9 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Everyone is invited. If you are interested in our amazing birds and enjoy interacting with fellow beachgoers, then this group is for you!
