Submit Questions for January’s Meet the Candidates Event

Before voting opens in KICA’s 2022 Directors Election, the Board Outreach and Education Committee will host a Meet the Candidates event at The Sandcastle on Jan. 5. The committee is soliciting questions from the membership to use at this event. If you have questions you’d like candidates to respond to, you are invited to submit them to [email protected] by Wednesday, Dec. 22.

The committee has also updated the 2022 election timeline. Candidate statements and videos, previously scheduled to be posted online on Dec. 28, will now be released via email and posted to web at kica.us on Dec. 17. This updated timeline gives members more than three weeks to review candidate information before the 30-day voting period opens on Monday, Jan. 10.

Printed packets for those without email will not be affected by this change and will be mailed on Dec. 27.
