Storm Repairs Update: Boardwalks and Roads – All Reopened!

KICA has been working to reopen the nine association-owned boardwalks and three roads that were damaged in Sunday’s storm. Here’s the latest progress:

Boardwalks

All KICA Boardwalks Reopened: 0 (Timbers), 1 (Duneside), 8A (Sandcastle), 9, 10, 12, 13, 15 (Eugenia), 39 (Flyway) – Please use caution on these boardwalks. They are structurally sound, but may require additional work for ideal transitions, more sand removal, etc.

Roads

All KICA Roads Repaired: Sea Marsh Road, Blue Heron Pond Road, Virginia Rail Road – Please note these roads are open and core repair work is complete, but there may be outstanding details to finalize the repairs.
