Seasonal Changes at The Sandcastle

The Sandcastle will be open for Labor Day. Celebrate the unofficial end of summer with some fun in the sun. It’s also your last chance to grab a bite at the Castle Grille in 2021. You can view the menu here.

Generally in the off-season months, things wind down a little at KICA’s community clubhouse, but not this year. The Sandcastle is transitioning to new, year-round hours and inviting community groups back to kick off this month (see more below).

 

NEW ACCESSIBLE HOURS

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, The Sandcastle and its pools will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. These new hours provide more access for members to the amenities, meaning you can have your morning coffee in the upstairs lounge and come back to finish your day with a twilight swim session.

 

MEMBER CARDS MAKE CHECK-IN EASY

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, the Sandcastle Member Service team will be printing new member amenity cards. While you can always check in with the friendly staff at the front desk, your member card allows for quick and easy access to all the amenities at The Sandcastle.

 

ACCESS THE POOLS THROUGH THE LOBBY

The pool entrance will close after Labor Day. Access the pools through the Sandcastle’s main entrance. Use your new member card for extra quick check-in!

 

THE SANDBAR IS OPEN THROUGH SEPT. 18

The Castle Grille closes for the season after Labor Day but this year, the Sandbar will be open 12-7 p.m. daily through Sept. 18 for poolside beverages and snacks.
