Oyster Reef Building

The Kiawah Conservancy and Kiawah Island Golf Resort have partnered with SCDNR’s South Carolina Oyster Restoration and Enhancement (SCORE) program to begin a restoration project on Kiawah Island. We need your help! On June 26 at 10 am, we will be building manufactured wire reefs (MWR) @ Mingo Point. Our goal is to build 130 reefs which will be installed at the Mingo Point site later this year.
