Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, March 10 when Tony Bartleme from the Post and Courier will present The Greenland Connection. The reporter will talk about his visit to Greenland where the rapidly melting glaciers connect directly to rising tides in the Lowcountry. Tony is making his second appearance at our World. He is a distinguished senior projects reporter with over thirty years at the newspaper. His topics have included a local surgeon who taught brain surgery in Africa, plankton, the elusive black rail (the “ghost bird”), hazardous waste sites, and local corruption in South Carolina.
