“Saturday Night Live meets Carnegie Hall.” – Huffington Post

Julian Gargiulo is a dynamic classical pianist who renders the compositions of renowned masters with extraordinary passion and precision, and fills the concert hall with his personal brand of charm, humor and charisma. He has performed in the United States, Italy, France, Germany, Russia and Australia, meeting always both public and critical acclaim.

By invitation, Mr. Gargiulo has performed three seasons at Weill Hall at Carnegie Recital Hall, one of which was recorded by RAI-International Television. Born and educated in Italy, with dual U.S. and Italian citizenship, Mr. Gargiulo’s musical studies took place in several countries. He began at the Verona State Conservatory (Randone), and continued at the Academy in Rome (Ciccolini). Following a one-year internship at the Moscow State Conservatory (Mezhlumov), he came to the United States, where he received his Master’s Degree at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University (Slutsky), and in 2001 completed his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree (Rodriguez).

Mr. Gargiulo currently resides in New York City and serves on the piano faculty at the Westerhoff School of Music and is Director of the Sacred Heart Concert Series of Mt. Vernon, a program he founded that brings classical music into non-traditional realms.
