Cancelled – Conservation Matters: Films For Conservation

Beautiful imagery of nature can be a powerful tool to educate, inspire, and make a positive change for conservation!
Join us as conservationist Benjamin Clock highlight’s his travels documenting birds to reveal the wonders of their behavior, migrations, and habitat. Learn about the film he is currently shooting, a chronicle of the importance of South Carolina’s coastal beachfront and marshland to Red Knots during their spring migration between southern South America and the Arctic. He’ll also share elements of his work on endangered Kirtland’s Warblers and Hawaiian Honeycreepers.
Benjamin Clock, a conservation photographer, videographer, field biologist, and audio recordist visually documents organisms and their habitats in an effort to help conserve wild places. He has been a passionate naturalist and birdwatcher since the age of 10 and worked for 14 years as a videographer and assistant curator at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Macaulay Library of Natural Sound and Video.
