Board Service Info Session

KICA’s Board Outreach and Education Committee invites members to learn about serving the Kiawah community on the association’s board of directors. Current board members will discuss the board’s priorities this year, important upcoming concerns and projects, the time commitment, virtual participation options, and the challenges and rewards for serving this community.
This event will be held at The Sandcastle at 3 p.m. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

A second virtual Board Service Info Session is on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. (view event and register) and will be hosted on Zoom, so that members can attend from anywhere.
The application for board service will open at kica.us on Oct. 14 and will close on Nov. 15. The community will vote to elect fellow members to represent their interests in the January election and two new board members will be elected for a three-year service term beginning in March 2022.
