Annual Maintenance at the Sandcastle Jan. 16-22

The Sandcastle will be closed from Monday, January 16 through Sunday, January 22 for annual facility maintenance projects. This closure impacts all of the Sandcastle’s amenities – the gym and fitness classes (including extended-hours access), the pools and deck, veranda, and the lending library. The facility will open, refreshed and deep-cleaned, on Monday, Jan. 23 at 7 a.m.

Some of the maintenance projects being completed include, but are not limited to: painting, replacing light fixtures, new carpeting, deck repair, and fire suppression system replacement. 

Join us at the refreshed and renewed Sandcastle facility as it reopens and see all of the updates our team has completed!  

The week prior to the closure, some projects will get started early:

• The Family and Oceanview Adult pools will each be closed for repairs beginning Monday, Jan. 9. The pool work is being done so that only one pool will be closed at a time until the facility closure.
• The Sandcastle’s fire suppression system main line replacement will begin Monday, Jan. 9. This work is not expected to impact the member experience; however, we ask that you pardon our appearance as this important work is underway.
• The Lending Library will be taped off beginning Monday Jan. 9 and will be available again, Monday, Jan. 23rd.
