Spring 2025 Special Election: Board Candidates Announced

Vote to Elect One Director to the KICA Board

A Special Election will be held to fill one open seat on the KICA Board of Directors. This seat was recently transitioned from a developer-appointed position to a member-elected role due to a KICA Covenant change.

Election Dates:
Voting will be open from May 30 to June 30, 2025.

Meet Your Candidates:
Two of your neighbors submitted their candidacy by the April 18 deadline: Beverly Bunting Fieroh and Bob Martineau. Get to know Beverly and Bob by reading their candidate statements below. You’ll also have the chance to hear directly from them in a brief video interview, available in mid-May, and at a live Meet the Candidates event on Tuesday, May 27.

Ballot Distribution:
Each property will receive one ballot on May 30, sent to the primary contact for the property’s managing household. Voting can be done online or by phone, unless you’ve specifically requested a mailed ballot.

Voting Power:
Your property type (e.g., unimproved lot or improved residence) will determine how many votes your household receives.

Term and Start Date:
The candidate receiving the most votes will be elected to a three-year term, beginning at the July 2025 board meeting and running through March 2028.
