Special Board Meeting: Temporary Waiver of 2018 MOU Restrictions Discussion and Vote

The KICA Board of Directors has called a special meeting to discuss Kiawah Partners’ request to temporarily waive several restrictions outlined in a 2018 Memorandum of Understanding. The request seeks to accommodate operations at the Cape Club in 2025 while road and parking improvements are made. The draft proposal was first shared with the community earlier this month and member feedback informed the board’s requested additions to the Partners’ proposal.

Kiawah Partners has provided a revised proposal, which the board and community will discuss at a special virtual meeting on Monday, March 3 at 8:30 a.m. (Register to attend here.) The board anticipates voting on whether to accept the temporary waiver agreement.
