Scheduled Closure to V-Gate Left Lane to Improve Guard Station

In 2024, the board approved the enclosure of the guard station at the V-Gate. Materials are now in and the project will get underway next week. Currently, Security team members staffing the gate work outside exposed to the elements. The new enclosure will improve the shift experience for our Security personnel, especially during the seasonal extremes in temperature and weather.

Work will begin on Monday, Jan. 27. (The start date was delayed from Jan. 21 due to winter weather). At this time, the inbound interior lane closest to the V-Gate will be closed. A KICA Security truck will be stationed in the lane, serving as a barrier and a temporary guard station. The project is expected to take 2-4 weeks to complete, depending on weather.

During the closure, please use extreme caution in the area. Obey all speed limits and watch for workers while driving.
