Kiawah Easter Events for Everybunny
It’s hard to believe that it’s already spring and now Easter is right around the corner. It’s a beautiful time on the island, and there are tons of great events happening for you to enjoy.
Kiawah Island Golf Resort
Head over to the Kiawah Island Golf Resort for events like the “Egg”-streme Kayak Egg Hunt, which starts at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15. The Nature Program is taking the egg hunt to the water – equipped with paddles and nets, you and your kayak partner will take to the water in search for eggs scattered throughout the Salt Marsh.
On Sunday, April 20, celebrate the Easter holiday with a breathtaking sunrise service. Gather on the beach directly behind The Sanctuary hotel for the 7 a.m. service presented by the Church of our Saviour on Johns Island. Head over to the Sanctuary for a brunch buffet or plan a head to place an order for a to-go meal for the family. Then join the Easter Bunny for this year’s Easter Egg Hunt and Toss, a Kiawah tradition! The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Freshfields Village
Freshfields Village has your evenings covered with spring editions of Music on the Green and Movies on the Green just before Easter. Head out to dance to some live music under the stars, see Hop, or make plans to do both.
Kiawah Island Community Association
Sandcastle Closed on Easter – The Sandcastle will be closed Sunday, April 20 for the holiday. The Sandcastle will reopen on Monday, April 21 at 7 a.m.
No Commercial Work Easter Weekend – Commercial work is not permitted Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.
