Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene was a Category 4 Hurricane when it made landfall in the Big Bend region of Florida on Thursday, Sept. 26. The outer bands of the downgraded tropical storm knocked down debris and a few trees on Kiawah, but overall the island fared well.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the many communities that weren’t so lucky.
