The gate access technology will be upgrading from barcode scanners to radio-frequency identification (RFID) sensors in mid-April. This means you will need an RFID decal (window sticker) for your member vehicle, instead of a barcode, to maintain island access. To receive RFID decals for your member vehicles, please submit your current information, including a copy of your registration, here. (If you are a Kiawah Island Club member, no action is required, as your existing club RFID decals have been activated for KICA’s gates.) The deadline for submitting an application has been extended to Friday, March 26. Anticipate 1-3 weeks for KICA to mail your new RFID decals. Learn more.
