Conservancy Marsh Monitoring Project Underway September Through October
Kiawah Conservancy staff will be accessing conserved marshlands near Marsh Island Park and Oyster Rake between September and early October to conduct a research project.
The purpose of the project is to study marsh invertebrates and vegetation characteristics as part of their ongoing work to study ecological health and monitor changes in marsh conditions over time. This project is focused on observing conditions and will not result in any alterations to the marsh.
If you have any questions about the nature of this work, please contact Lee Bundrick, the Conservancy’s senior ecological health and conservation coordinator ([email protected], 843-998-0183).
