Application for Complimentary Sandcastle Access Exception 

In order to promote equity, the board approved a new access policy allowing individuals without direct family (parents, adult children, or grandchildren) to apply for a complimentary access exception. Many members have family on the island that can access The Sandcastle as individuals with complimentary access.

Those without these family members can now designate up to four households of their choosing for complimentary nonmember access to certain amenities. Please note that all individuals for a given household must reside at the same address to be eligible for access. Proof of Residence (driver’s license or photo ID) will be required for all individuals 16+.

Those who are interested must first fill out this application for exemption. Members with family on file with KICA are not eligible for this exemption.
