Amy Cook Named Interim Director of Recreation

If you’ve spent any amount of time at The Sandcastle in the past nine years, you’ve probably met Amy Cook already. Amy previously served as KICA’s assistant director of Recreation, and she’s been heavily involved in all aspects of your community clubhouse’s operations, including creating and planning member events like Celebrate Kiawah and the annual Oyster Roast, contracting with Cru Catering to operate the Castle Grille and Sandbar, and managing the member services team at the front desk. Amy has been in the hospitality industry for nearly her entire career, serving as director of catering for the Fat Hen and in fine establishments such as the Sanctuary Hotel, The Waldorf Astoria and New York Hilton.
