The association welcomes Alex Fernandez and Beth Zampino to the KICA board.

58% of the community participated in the 2021 Kiawah Island Community Association Board of Directors Election, held between Jan. 6 and Feb. 5, 2021. The quorum requirement was met on Tuesday, Feb. 2, when the vote exceeded 51% participation. Alex Fernandez (statement/video) and Beth Zampino (statement/video) were elected to fill the two board seats. The newly elected directors will officially begin their three-year term on March 12, 2021 at the association’s annual meeting. In the next few weeks, Alex and Beth will prepare for their service by participating in an orientation and board planning session.
