Shorebird Stewardship Kickoff

Interested in helping to protect Kiawah‘s shorebirds? Consider joining the Kiawah Island Shorebird Stewardship Program! Shorebird stewards serve as advocates to protect our shorebirds and their critical habitats by teaching beachgoers about the birds that nest, rest, and feed on our beach.

No experience is required, and training is provided. The 2023 season kickoff meeting will be Thursday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at the town Municipal Center. Everyone is invited.
