Restore the Marsh

Come and get your hands dirty for a good cause! On June 21 at 11 AM, the Kiawah Conservancy and Kiawah Island Golf Resort will host a volunteer event at Mingo Point (876 Kiawah Island Parkway) to plant Spartina alterniflora (smooth cordgrass) in the marsh. This is part of ongoing restoration efforts in the Kiawah River Watershed. It’s a great way to spend some time outside, make a difference, and support the local ecosystem.
