Our World – China: What to Watch for Now

George Pope enjoyed a forty-year career in international relations which included The Peace Corps (Chile), six U.S. Embassy postings (Nigeria, Indonesia, South Korea, France, Belgium, and Japan), extensive travel, and various consulting engagements.
George’s Our World presentation will discuss Chinese issues not heavily followed in the U.S. media and offer ‘indicators’ to watch for as these events unfold. George is looking forward to a lively Q&A session.
George, and wife Lucretia, moved to the Lowcountry in 1998 where in addition to his seventeen years holding babies at MUSC (his memoir ‘The Baby Whisperer by George Pope’ is available on Amazon), he ushers at the Galliard, and is active with the World Affairs Council of Charleston (waccharleston.org).
