Our World – Brian Hicks

Our World is an educational lecture series open to all members. All events are currently hosted virtually on Zoom. The theme of the spring 2021 series is “Our Neighborhood,” where speakers will discuss some of the major decisions and topics affecting Kiawah and the broader Charleston area.
Join Post and Courier columnist Brian Hicks as he joins us on the Our World virtual stage Thursday, April 22 at 3 p.m. In this talk, Brian will cover one of his favorite topics: Charleston history. With the 350th anniversary of the city’s founding taking place in 2020, there’s plenty to explore. Brian will start with a fascinating story of the Kiawah Indians here on the island.
