How did a 19-year-old girl conceive of such a startling idea, one that has riveted audiences for more than 200 years? It’s the perfect season to learn more about this remarkable woman and how she created an enduring science fiction classic.
Paula, the C. Wallace Martin Chair of English Emerita at the University of South Carolina, is co-editor of The Journals of Mary Shelley.
