Dr. Michael Sun, Assistant Professor of Political Science, The Citadel, is a former military officer, rising to the rank of Colonel in the Taiwanese Army. His extensive background experience and his current research and publications make him one of the top experts on US -Taiwanese- Chinese relations at a time when America faces hard decisions about its role in East Asia.
