Marsh Grass Seed Harvest

Calling all volunteers! The Kiawah Conservancy and Kiawah Island Golf Resort invite you to participate in a Marsh Grass Seed Harvest on Wednesday, December 11 from 10-12 pm at Mingo Point at Kiawah Island Golf Resort (876 Kiawah Island Parkway).

This volunteer event will involve collecting Spartina alterniflora (smooth cordgrass) seeds that will then be cultivated, grown, and replanted at the marsh restoration site located at Mingo Point.
