Junior Explorers: Tailgating with Turtles

The Sandcastle, Kiawah Island SC

The Kiawah Conservancy will host a summer Junior Explorers event in partnership with the Town of Kiawah Island Turtle Patrol and Kiawah Island Community Association.

During this exciting event, each family will team up with a Turtle Patrol volunteer and participate in a hands-on turtle nesting and hatching activity. We’ll also be joined by local authors of the children’s book Little Turtle’s Kiawah Island Journey, Deanna Cochran and Patty Wolford. Be sure to bring your copy of the book for them to sign!

The group will meet on the beachfront of The Sandcastle near boardwalk 8 B.
