The Boeing Corporation moved into its 1.2 million square foot plant near the Charleston Airport in 2011. With over 5,000 employees who work in the lone production site for Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner, Boeing is a major economic force in the Lowcountry and the state of SC.
On Thursday, March 30, Lane Ballard, General Manager of Charleston’s Boeing installation, will visit The Sandcastle as part of Kiawah’s OUR WORLD Educational Lecture Series to discuss “Boeing: Connecting the World — from South Carolina.
