Proposed Land Trade

Attend a special meeting on the Parcel Trade on Friday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. at the Sandcastle. View the agenda. 

The recently proposed land trade between KICA and Kiawah Partners (KP) would secure land for KICA’s daily operations while preserving more of the island’s natural environment.

This land trade requires a vote of the membership.  KICA is asking for members to submit their vote by the Sept. 13, 5 p.m. deadline. Voting can be completed by return paper ballot (remember to sign your ballot before submitting), telephone ,or online at, using the code printed on the distributed ballots. The special meeting will be held on Friday Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. in the Sandcastle ballroom, located at 1 Shipwatch Road.
