Hello everyone,
It's time again for KICA's annual fishing tournament. Please join the Association's Lakes Management Department on October 1st, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and lasting till 3:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for largest fish, largest fish per category, smallest fish and the most fish caught.
Advanced registration packets are available for download via the following link [
kica.us], or from the visitor’s center in the Municipal Center building (23 Beachwalker Drive), the Night Heron Park Nature Center and the Association Maintenance office (20 kestrel Court) until September 30th.
You may also register on event day starting at 10:00 a.m. at the check in station in the Canvasback Pond parking area. To begin fishing before 10:00 a.m. or to fish the back-half of the island if you need a pass, you must pre-register. Contact the Lakes Department staff with questions at 843-768-2315 or

New South Carolina fishing regulations as of July 1, 2009 states that anyone 16 years or older will need to have a South Carolina fishing licenses to fish in water’s of South Carolina and Federal waters. Charleston’s DNR office 843-953-9301 or [
