Local, nationally-recognized artist Mary Whyte has spent the last seven years traveling to all 50 states, interviewing and painting portraits of America’s veterans. She will share these pictures and stories behind her latest project with attendees at Our World on Thursday, Dec. 12.
The new paintings, “We the People: Portraits of Veterans in America”, have been widely acclaimed and featured at exhibits and events throughout the Lowcountry.
