Political Independence at the Federal Reserve

What is it? Why is it important? Is it threatened? Recently-retired as the Richard S. Volpert Professor of Economics at Amherst College, Geoffrey Woglom has spent a career studying and writing about economic policy, including stints at the Federal Reserve Board and the International Monetary Fund. This is a timely topic in a period of change.

Our World is a complimentary educational lecture series produced by KICA that provides members with presentations by local experts on a wide variety of subjects. A light selection of wine and cheese will be provided and members are encouraged to interact with speakers following their discussions. Unless otherwise indicated, all presentations are held at 3 p.m. at The Sandcastle.

To attend, RSVP to [email protected].
