Swim Across America – Open Water Swim

This summer, Kiawah Island Golf Resort will be hosting our 3rd annual Swim Across America charity swim on Sunday, August 4th to support cancer research locally at Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. The swim on Kiawah Island will feature both half-mile and 1.5 mile ocean swim options—a day of beach fun for the whole family with appearances from Olympians, including Jenny Thompson, 12-time Olympic Medalist. This community-oriented event is designed to attract swimmers from across the country of all ages and skill levels. Register online at www.swimacrossamerica.org/Kiawah.

SAA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment by hosting open water and pool swim events across the US. SAA, whose events include Olympians, has raised over $80 million since its inception.
