Mapping Millennial Lives
As the baton passes to a new generation of young adults, parents, employers, and more than a few journalistic thinkpieces are keenly eyeing the transfer. Millennials make us wonder how relationships are being recast
by 21st Century technologies, how shi s in economic aspirations are
shaping the workplace, and how new struggles are altering the electorate. Mapping Millennial Lives explores these questions, emphasizing what’s new, and what’s not, about the generation carrying the baton into tomorrow.
Ryan M. Milner is an associate professor of Communications at the College of Charleston. He studies the intertwine of everyday expression and mediated communication, assessing the social, political, and cultural stakes of online interaction.
